What is social media marketing:

Social media marketing (SMM) is any type of advertising is done on social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

See in your mind's eye having the opportunity to reach thousands of people for free and not doing it.

The answer to your second question is yes, it can help your business. Now you asked me, "How?" Well, let's start with the basics.

How much time does the average person spend online on any social media? Probably the average user spends all most three hours per day on social media. So imagine missing the chance to reach that potential customer just because your business can not be found on any social media.

It is free. Creating an account on any social media website is free. You only need to give an email account there. Unless you want to spend money on ads there is a lot, when I say a lot I mean A LOT you can do it for free on social media.

What is the first thing you do when you find a new business you like or you find useful? Search for it online. Most businesses appear easily on a Google search but if you have accounts on social media, your potential customer will be able to interact directly with you, like your page or follow your account. Take a look at your products or leave a simple review of your service or product.

Believe it or not, this means a lot for a business. Why? It is “FREE”. It will also help you build your brand and your new customers can get to know you easily even if they have never been to your business or bought your product before.

Now imagine you spend money on social media ads. It will boost your reach and most likely your sales. So do not hesitate to open accounts on social media for your business.

How can improve Facebook Ads:

This is a very indistinguishable question. But okay, let’s digest and I will try to give the right answers that I know of based on my experience.

You also need to understand a few good metrics like CTR, CPC, CPM to better analyze what you can improve on. Let’s say you have an adset (let’s focus on one, for now) but no one is buying it, yeah?

1. Now, check to see if people are clicking. No? Is the CTR below 2%? Yes? Then you need to improve the ad creative (image). People don’t click because they are not “distracted” by your ad creative. Remember, people on Facebook need a distraction from the newsfeed and you need ad creative’s that recommend them to click.

2. Try different ad angles. By this I mean, try several ad copy approaches that will trigger their emotions. You need to make them believe that your product is going to change their lives for the better, that your product will solve their problem.

3. You can also try a different audience to find out which audience converts. If you’re doing POD, finding the right audience is a must. Once you find them, you can continuously advertise to them different products in that niche.

4. Research the correct demographic for your product. Is this your product for millennials? Is it for older people? Etc.

5. A good call to action is a must.
